Thanks Buddie for the info.My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I loved his work on some of the old Haggard stuff. He was truly a Master.

Thanks from me too, Buddie. Jimmy was a close friend of mine back in the '60's and he covered my mistakes a many time. Peace and comfort to his family and friends.

Man, I am very sorry to hear that, he was one heckuva fiddle player and a super nice guy, we opened a show for Ray Price quite a few years back, and Jimmy was sittin in with him and I got to meet him, no matter what you play it is so cool to get to meet a legend, my thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Jimmy was one of the greats, alright! A lot of the younger players might not even know him, but he left an indelible mark in country and western swing music. Like many other players, he never received credit for many of the recordings he did.

I will miss him.
