I don't know about a steel guitarist with an electronic metronome. Sounds like you are going to have to find a matching drummer. Wishing you the best. Buddie |

Hey guys and gals. I want to thank everyone of you that have kept Joan and I in your thoughts and prayers. God's hand was, and is on us both. The Docs, nurses and all the staff at Methodist Hospital did an outstanding job with my care. I am home now getting over the soreness. My heart rate is set at 60 bpm. I could not talk the Doc into giving me a control knob so I guess I'll play lots of ballads. I have only found one problem with having an electronic device implanted in my chest, everytime I sneeze the channel changes on the T.V. (HA HA) I want to thank my employers at MSA / Micro Space for their support and prayers over the past couple months. I am so blessed that I have the best job in the world. Thank you all so much for you kind words. Now I must ask all of you to turn your attention to our fellow steeler Jim Murphy. Jim needs our prayers as he struggles with cancer again. God is still on the throne and can still touch Jim's body. He will be in our prayers. Thanks, Johnny ------------------ Johnny Cox

Mr. Cox, Congratulations on getting "wired for sound." (Lub-dub, Lub-dub...)Now that you have a beat you can dance to, don't worry about the t.v. chanels, just enjoy setting off the security alarms at some of the stores you enter! (It's fun, honest!) L.A. |

Dumplin' good to talk to you yesterday. Thanks for the super job you and Junior did on the SS. I know Lane Hogan will love it. Glad you're back and know that the missus and I spent a couple of minutes asking the Great One for your recovery. The diet won't be too bad, just do like I did. Sell the lawnmower and "graze" the front and back yards. It'll be better than what's placed on the table. Now Joan don't get in a knot. TeeheeReally Joan, maybe a pizza once in a while. Gotta' have that grease you know. LOL fred ------------------ The spirit be with you! If it aint got a steel, it aint real

Joan,I'm behind the times and just read the string about Johnny's pacemaker. Johnny's always been a "pacemaker" in the steel guitar world, so I know that this personal pacemaker will be just the ticket to keep him healthy and with us a whole lot longer. My best wishes go out to you and Johnny and hope that your holiday season is a wonderful one. Kiss Johnny for me and take care. All it takes is a phone call if you need anything. Love to you. |

Hi Johnny and Joan. I am very glad the pacemaker has worked out well for you. We all want you around for a LONG time to come.So how is it around non-humbucking steel pickups? ![](http://steelguitarforum.com/wink.gif) |
