I went last year so it'll have to wait til next year to go again. I'll miss the comradory as well as all the new "toys" to drool over.

Yes Don, there is a shuttle from the airport to a number of hotels, I just can't remember if the one you're staying at is on it's route.

The Adams Mark has it's own shuttle from the airport to the hotel. You can either make advanced arrangements or call from the "red" phone when you arrive.

Mike; Like I stated in my opening line "I only speak for myself"! I could look better if I followed suit and got on the "big team"but neither side appointed me their spoke person. congratulations on your appointment. As does yourself I just keep on a diggin. ain't life wonderful?

James I'm not going either for the reasons you stated earlier.

Mike , Not everyone is going to agree with you and if it bothers you so much, maybe you should chill out a little.

I don't know where you got your figure of 100 people, but lets say it is a 100. The average person probably spends $1000 on that weekend, Thats a Hundred Grand that won't be there. Pretty good statement in my estimation.

Myron, as I stated, I could care less EITHER way. What bothers me is the fact that this subject has been whipped to death a dozen times with the same ending, NOTHING CHANGED! It's a case where instead of the squeaky wheel getting oiled, the cart just gets parked instead.

James, I have not been appointed to any post by either side of whatever nor do I care to be. Yes, we both keep digging but the difference between us is when I finish digging, I usually put someone else in the hole and cover it up!

My Dad and I have attended the ISGC last few years.
He is currently visiting for 10 days helping fix up the house we have for sale and do some repairs on the house we just bought.

If we're still speaking by the end of said visit, we'll both be there! (the status of his/my ISGC trip fluctuates with each project )!

We'll be there... My wife and I along with a couple of friends that went with us last year. We try and not miss it. Everybody doesn't make it every year so it really ends up being different each year.. I'm looking forward to seeing everybody that does make it. We will be there early Thursday afternoon....

Mike I agree with you 100% about hashing and rehashing and getting nowhere.Certainly you are one of the good guys so I have no argument with you and your opinions.Maybe I just shouldn't care either but unfortunately I do care even If I become the last one who does,I want to just keep up the interest until you or one of your fellow morticians covers me up.The ISGC is still dollar for dollar the best bargain show of this and any year. If it continues each year to draw the 5000+ thats pretty good business and 100 or so won't bother that type of income.

James, when we stop caring, we cease to live. We don't agree or disagree with each other, we merely state our opinions and step back and admire what we have said and start thinking of what to say to each others rebuttal, THAT'S called fun!!!

Jonathan: From what I heard and seen you do last year it won't be long before you are on the center stage as a featured player. No need to search for your talent we all seen it displayed. You are the future.

I have been to every one, even the small ones before it was called the name it has today, it has been one of the high lites for me every year to look forward to. But it does help when you only live 60 miles away, but 60 or 600 i would still be there. Jerry

Spend a average of 1000 bucks? I'll be there but unless we strike oil in the back yard it won't be near that much. Whoever spends that kind of money, must be one of those people that has to have ALL the toys.

I'll be there. My set is on Saturday morning at 11:30. It's funny that today is my first day back teaching high school English this semester, but my mind is on the St. Louis show. Can't wait! I hope to get a chance to talk with some of the people I've known on the Forum.Joe, I'll be up front for your set. I'm looking forward to hearing the "Cats." Dan, I am excited to hear Chuck Campbell. What a great surprise! Will you be hosting another jam session?
