I have been looking for the tablature to "Rocky Top". I know someone has it in one of their insrruction books or somewhere, I just can not seem to find it on the Forum or on other sites. My memory must be getting bad with age. Any help would be much appreciated. Bill Schmidt Sho-Bud SuperPro, Peavey 1000, Goodrich |

William, I make no claims as to being any sort of expert here..but..I do have an opinion and a little advise.. If you just study the chord chart and learn to play the chord structure of both the verse and chorus, you will be able to play this song ( and probably every other one ) without any tab. This is a great tune for Steel and playing basically a chord melody is a fairly easy way to get started on this one. If you tell me what key you want to play it in and I will send you a quick and dirty chart..with Steel pedal/knee /fret positions...but, once again, after you study the chart the next step would be to merge the chart into memory positon playing, that way you can play it in any key they throw at ya..and at a pretty rapid meter too.. great tune.. t |
