![]() Good one Hoffnar. Whoda thunk that RR was RR's steel player? Also, Billy, George Jones' steeler is Tom Killen, not Killian. Killian's is a beer. Also, isn't Gary Morse, formerly of Deewight Yoakam and Dierks with anybody right now? Where's all the Texas guys? ![]() Hey, this is an impressive list. If all these artists are touring with steel guitars, then there should be little if any complaining about not enough steel in bands now days. Imagine the list if we included guys who play with part time bands in clubs, oprys or churches WOW! [This message was edited by JAMES BANKS on 22 February 2006 at 07:39 AM.] |

![]() Oop's, I am a little behind the curve here, it has been brought to my attention that the world famous Smiley Roberts is now the steel guitar player for Jett. My bad! Booker T's tune "Green Onions" has been literally beat to death over the years by steel guitar players everwhere LMAO!, but nobody can pull that one off like Smiley. What a picker! ------------------ |
