That could be a 2000 but I doubt a single neck 800 being able to use 10 pedals, but she's still great. A fine singer but an outstanding steel player and still in her teens. |

I have Barbara's Sho-Bud 14, which is the sister guitar to Julian Tharpe's. The She-Bud has 10 pedals and 5 knee levers and Julian's tuning on it as well as the name "Barbara" on the front apron. A beautiful behemoth of a guitar. |

If it was played by Barbara, it was of course a SHE-BUD! Kind Regards, Walter |

I think she is a prodigy multi-instrumentalist. She can play 6 or 8 instruments better than most of us can play one. And she's a great singer. She is definitely one-of-a-kind. ------------------ |

She had talent, but she obviously spent thousands of hours honing her chops. This was back when it took talent and work to be a recording artist. Rick |

That was Barbara appearing on the "Melody Ranch" TV show which used to come on channel 5 (KTLA) in the Los Angeles area. At the end like Jim Bob said it's Billy Mize who was the host of the show and also is one of my old bosses, and the late great Johnny Bond. As a lot of you know, Billy was one helluva steel player in his own right. I wonder if Barbara still plays at home for her own enjoyment.....JH in Va. ------------------ |

She's got a better hairdo than even Jeff Beck - man, you could ride a motorcycle in that thing! Maybe she quit playing because she found that cuteness and singing talent were a better career path to pursue - I'm so lucky, I'LL never have to face that dilemma. Ribbet, ribbet, croak, croak.... |
