![]() Hi guys, I want to put together a PC laptop recording rig to record myself, acoustic instruments, steel guitar, vocal, and need your opinions and recommendations on gear. I won't be recording drums, bands, or anything that would need a bunch of inputs. PC laptop Any tips you can give me would be appreciated. Also, I'm looking at some packages: thanks much, [This message was edited by Drew Howard on 30 November 2006 at 02:45 PM.] |

![]() I know you need good sound in, to good sound out. I don't know about digital requirements. Use your best mics and preamps on the most important instruments/vocals. Hope this helps. |

![]() Drew, give me a call this weekend. I've been doing computer recording for several years now. I can probably point you in the right direction based on your budget. ------------------ Carter D-10 |
