WOW! What a great response! There's already been enough coming in on PayPal to get over the immediate crisis, and from what I'm reading we'll have no trouble making next month's Internet bill.

Thanks, everyone, for your enthusiastic support.

I just ordered Buddy's "rainbow" CD from the Forum Catalog. I sent $50 and told b0b to keep the change. The Forum is wonderful and I never want to see it go away!

Salute to b0b!

Don't fear. The Forum can't go under as long as I am gainfully employed. The T1 connection is on a 3-year contract with Qwest, that started in January. I'm not going to reneg on that contract.

I'm happy to say that the PayPal response has been just great! It instantly removed a month-long worry from my mind. Donations are ranging from $5 to $100 each! This is a great help.

Thanks, everyone!

My disposable income has been slowly diminishing especially after receiving a deep, out of pocket speeding ticket in West Virginia. Anyway Bob, please find a line item entree on your PayPal statement from me, a donation to a most entertaining cause.

Bob, Thanks for what you do. My check is in the mail for 2 CD's and a donation. I'd go for annual dues. You could charge dues for those listing items for sale or for commercial announcements, but otherwise open to interested parties.

The response to this thread has been overwhelming! Today's mail included 20 donation checks. I'm happy to say that this spurt of generosity has put the Forum onto firm financial footing for the next few months.

Thanks again, everyone!

By the way, if you sent a PayPal payment and didn't get an email reply from me, you may have sent it to the wrong address. The correct address is quasar@b0b.com and 'b0b' is spelled with a zero: bee-ZERO-bee. You might need to cancel payment with PayPal if you spelled it wrong.

Hi, b0b, When I get back to the US at the end of June I'll send The Forum a check for $50 even though it has slowed down my progess on steel guitar. Now I read the Forum more and practice less. In the USA could this warrant a possible lawsuit (class action suit ... Forum members) vs. b0b????? Thanks so much,
Steve
