For those of you in the greater Metropolian area. Jody's and Johnny's HCOA have been played by long time disc jockey Joe Franklin over radio station WOR mutual coast to coast.

Joe Franklin features music from a by gone era and calls his show "Down Memory Lane".

Joe Franklin has been a long time favorite in the New York area and many times features guests live on his show for an interview.

Franklins comments regarding the Hot Club were most positive and quoted " I remember these two guitarists appearing on my Down Memory lane some many years back and the musicianship is every bit as good today as it was back then. I think this is a great CD
and would like to express my thanks to the man who mailed this to me,"unquote" and guys
that man was "ME".

Franklin featured Limehouse Blues and promised that other selections from the CD will be featured in the weeks ahead.

His comments were "Top Flight Entertainment" and refreshing and a great CD for collectors and those who enjoy just great talent.

Lets Go for Jody and Johnny.

Thank You to those of you who encouraged Jody to make this happen.

For those of you who are not aware,Jodys sweet wife Marilyn is fighting a deadly disease and Jody has gone into seclusion and does NOT answer e mail or phone calls.

I hope somehow someone will reach Jody and give him this great news.

More to follow. Franklin refers to the Hot Club as exciting and tasty and meets todays standards of music in spite of the age of this long ignored masterpiece and in most cases surpassed many of the music of today.,,those were Franklins comments and I for one agree.

Thank you all.

Greg & Lisa Sullivan

This CD is going to excite those who hear it.Its not country or jazz,,just plain old good music by four fine talented people.

Another plug for the Hot Club Of America which was aired today at WHUD 100.7 FM,,amazing this reoording has been in mothballs till Dave Van Allen pulled it out.

Featured song today was CARAVAN, give a listen when you can. The DJ said this is the hottest version of Caravan he has heard to date.

Our campus/community radio station here in Edmonton, CJSR, doesn't have that level of listenership, but I usually sneak in a Hot Club song every couple weeks on my show.

Last Monday, I played the first track from the Arthur Godfrey Talent Scout Show CD ("Caravan"), including the great interview with the talent scout herself, Jody's mom.

That Arthur Godfrey disc is unreal. Godfrey was floored. He had to ask Jody to play half a song over again, just to hear his voice-like tone-knob work...

"Did you ever hear such a collection of sounds?"
