Having just moved to the fine state of Azizona, I was wondering whether there were steel guitar dealers here. Any referrals would be appreciated.

DeNo Music in Casa Grande has some steel goods - a little farther from Tucson is Freds Music (Fred Justice) in Globe.
And, if you're here by then, there is the
SWSGA Show in Mesa.

Thanks guys. Larry, I'll try and be there. We're still searching for a rental here in Tucson and as soon as that happens I will go back to Gettysburg and pick up our "stuff".
Hopefully I can attend the show as I'd like to see you and meet the steelers of the southwest.

While neither has a 'Steel Department', nor knows much about them per se, I noticed a couple used steels in Rainbow Music and in Chicago Music while playing in Tucson last Nov/Dec - Actually, I ended up getting a quite nice Emmons P/P (yes, Black ) from Chicago Music.

Also, be sure to look up Chuck Back, who builds Desert Rose steels in Tucson.

Is this the same John Lemay that did the mod work on my 1998 Nashville 400 ?? Saw my old neighbor from the North West,Larry Behm had responded to you. If so,a very hearty welcome to Arizona John,to you and your family.
My favorite steel store is Fred Justice in Globe Az.,bought my new Rains P.S.G. there, and Fred has anything else a steeler might need. In addition,my N-400 still sounds fabulous, your mod kit was great !

Thanks Phillip for the greeting and the reference to Fred's place. I plan to check it out ASAP. Yes, I did your amp a while back. Glad to hear that it still pleases you. I might get into more amp mischief once I get settled here. Who knows?
