Hi Steve - I am sorry as I will not be able to make this jam. I tried to send you an email, to the address listed here on the forum, but the message kicked back as undeliverable. Would you know of the dates for the rest of the planned jams this year ? Thanks and hoping everyone has a great time picking.

Rick, Thanks for the compliment. I really enjoy the Hummingbird Jams when I can attend. There is a lot of talent in Ohio!

Jim, Have fun in Florida. You deserve a vacation to help with post-surgery recovery.

Lance, I need to change my address on the Forum to: steveporter1@alltel.net. We have booked August 20th and November 19th at Parkstown and I am working on a location for the May Jam. We try to hit the middle of each calendar quarter for our Jams. We will miss you Sunday.

I have had numerous responses from pickers planning to attend the Jam this Sunday. I anticipate a great turn-out and some terrific playing all afternoon. Remember to tell your friends and bring a few with you. There is plenty of room and the entertainment doesn't get any better. Guys, there is shopping nearby if you are trying to persuade the spouse to come along for the entire afternoon. The weather outlook is good. See everyone Sunday!

Jim Thompson was with us last night at our monthly FSGC jam.
He did some fine pickin' and we all enjoyed having him down here.
Jim told us about your jams and all the really skilled musicians who attend.
Best wishes for another great show.

Lance, sorry to hear you can't make it to the jam Sunday. I wanted you to hear the Carter with a couple of True Tone pups in it. Oh well, maybe next time.

Hi Tommy - glad to here you are still enjoying the Carter, but I thought you sounded pretty fine on that Mullen ! Sounds like there will be a lot of players this time - I am sorry to miss it, but I'll be playing, actually just practicing, with a group where we are working in both a new lead player and drummer. Hope you guys have a good time, and let one rip for me !

Sorry guys. I won't see you all this Sunday, but I had to do it. The chance to go to Fla. came up and somebody had to go. Since nobody else volunteered I decided to do it. See you all next month at Hummingbird.

Pickers, This ASGA "Winter Jam" is your Cabin Fever get-away. You don't have to leave for Florida or Tim-Buc-Tu, just come to the Jam for an afternoon of Steel Guitar entertainment with friends you haven't seen in a long time. Jon Smorada, Rich Mitcham, Rick Troyer, Tommy, Wayne, Dallas, Alan, J.D., Jim Gray and many more are coming. Get on out and come see us, you won't regret it!
