Hey Y'all,

Our September 17th show at Russell's Shed in Shepherdsville, KY will feature Dave Richardson and Armon Brown.

Music starts around 2pm and goes until 5pm.

Come on out and enjoy the musc and the fellowship with other steel players and friends.

Drop me an email if you need more information!

Thanks, Eli

Hey, if it helps any, we usually have coffee, sodas, and stale cookies for a nominal donation!

Those stale cookies are gettin' old, Eli.
You think we could have some stale potato chips this time?

Folks, Eli played the fire out of his Emmons P/P last month.

Hope to see some of you there.

Late breaking news...John Davis (from England) will be visiting our Steel Club this afternoon. He's in the middle of a trek to the US to pick up a steel and visit like-minded friends of the steel guitar, so come on out to Russell's Shed this afternoon at 2pm!

Hey Everybody,

I'd like to thank John Davis for stopping by and spending some time with our little steel guitar club here in Louisville/Shepherdsville. It was a real treat to get to meet and hear him play. It was also really cool to check out, in person, Tommy Cass' handywork with the restoration of John's Emmons push-pull. Mr. Cass truly is a craftsman with a respect for the instrument.

Once again, thanks to John for sharing his time, talent, and love for the steel with all of us hillbillies and city-billies.

We had another fine show with Dave Richardson (graciously sharing some of his time with our visitor from England), Dave Armon and John Davis.

Drums: Judy Brummett, Kenny Shepherd
Guitar: Boogie Sherard, Ted Pohlman, Kenny Shepherd
Bass: Danny Wells
Vocals: Ted Pohlman, Kenny Shepherd, Kermit Smith.

Next month (October) there will be no LMSGC meeting as we anticipate a big turnout for the Hall of Fame Show October 8th in Fairdale (more on that later --- stay tuned).

Thanks again to everybody who came out for making such an enjoyable afternoon of steel guitar goodness.
