Hello Steel Players,
To work against the unemployment situation here in Denmark I am now in my workshop rebuilding pedal steel guitars which can be played by 3 steel players at the same time,
one is picking with the 3 picks and controlling the foot volume pedal, one is handling the steel bar, and pressing 6 pedals, and the middle man is pressing 12 pedals with 2 feet.
So every band will now have 3 working steel players in the band.
Greetings from
Henning

With this setup I think you will also need a fourth person to work the amp and effects controls. Also, I notice that the picker and bar man will each have a free hand. Why not put in some wrist levers for them to work?

Hi Henning !

That's a great idea .... sort of

I wouldn't feel too comfortable sharing my present gig with anyone, but my band www.midnightcowboys.dk might view that differently

BTW I can't actually see the picture in your post here on the Forum, but I "lurked" into the source code and got it from the geocities-site.

Hi Henning
Unfortunately I can't see the picture on this post. As the person in the center have both arms free, maybe you could combine this special guitar with a built in accordion.
Then I would be interested!
When do you expect the first instruments to be finished, around 01 April, next year?

Best regards
Bruno

I can´t see any picture either. Could you try and get it in there once more, Henning?

Stå på!

Henning -
I don`t get it.

B.T.W - we should be enough steelers now here in Denmark to form a Danish Steel Guitar Association.
Any interested Danes around?
Maybe Henning K. for President?

Or maybe a Scandinavian Steel Guitar Association since there are a lot of fine steelers in both Sweden and Norway.
How about it Ulf L. and Dag W.?

Please feel free to email me and let us see if we can get this pig to fly.

UH

5.april 2003,
Good Idea, Uwe.
In the past there have been seminars/conventions/concerts in Båstad, Sweden with Jimmie Crawford, Janne Lindgren, Nils Tuxen, Kent Larsson, and in Furuvik with Lloyd Green.
In Copenhagen, Denmark with Maurice Andersson.
In Kristiansand, Langesund, and Hattfjelldal, Norway with Jeff Newman, Jimmie Crawford, Scotty, Herby Wallace, Lloyd Green, Paul Franklin, JD Maness, Tom Brumley, Janne Lindgren and more.
A central place for Norway Sweden and Denmark would be the Oslo area.
Mange hilsner
Henning
