I am looking for the thinnest possible wound string (I prefer nickel over stainless, but anyway...) for electric instuments (steel guitar incl.).I have seen .018w but I seem to remember .016w (?). Anybody know where? Thanks! ... J-D. |

J-D----Brooklyn is pretty much the same as always. Cows grazing in the meadows, trout lazily rising to my caddis flies, yeah, just another day in Flatbush paradise.I can't honestly say I'm playing the dobro much--in fact when I get the urge, Matchbro is what I whip out on the stand. But I surely have no regrets--I'm glad I've got it and for the times when I need to reconnect with some acoustic roots, it's there for me. |
