Thank you for the kind words, Nathan. Here is just one more in another position where I use the E-F lever. Example to be played over E7.

Hi, Jerry Hedge...

Who was the actress who gave me such a glowing reference? I hardly recognized myself !

Ah, yes...

I remember trying to teach Becky some golfing rudiments - maybe I was unusually patient that day!

Those shows are such fun, aren't they? Ted Swindley has, indirectly, been responsible for 50% of my work over the last six years.

Thanks, Jerry.

Dominant 7 licks I use for medium to fast tempos:

A

2/-----|---------5L--5L--|---------5L-----
3/-----|-----5---5---5---|-----5---5------
4/-----|-----5-----5-----|-----5----------
5/--4--|-5-----5-------5-|-4-5---5-----4--
6/-----|-----------------|----------------

timing: (4)1 2and3and4and1and2and3 4

also, try this with the A/F pedal position as well as the pedals down position.

Drew

Jerry>Roger>Drew - thanks for reviving this thread! As luck would have it, I just got word that I'll be doing "Always, Patsy Cline" Jan.-Mar. 2004 at Zach Scott Theater here in Austin...another sweaty-palmed shot at reading down steel charts...ugh...so Mr. Rettig, sounds like I'm drifting into the "Swindley society" as well!

Stay tuned for more questions from behind the music stand!
