I believe this is a "Kunta Kinte" model, carved from a hollow log in Gambia, West Africa (1750-1752).

I just checked ebay to see what the price was up to.....the ad has evidently been pulled. I got a message saying that it's not a valid item. Now we'll never know what that little cream puff was worth.
