Don...Thank you for setting up the pictures. I owe you! Larry thanks for all the kind words. This has been a lot of work, but the rewards will be worth it. I just hope SHOT would be pleased with what I am doing. I am also working on a retrofit for Super Pro owners so they can put the "Teardrop" style levers on their guitars without having to worry about the "Cap Pistol" brackets breaking as mine will be made of mild steel and then chromed. Wow, that's some high quality work. John, Maybe you'd consider making some single allen scew connectors (in place of the brass ones with the c clips) like Ricky Davis had on his old Proll..they looked like a super fast way to mess around with the set up. |

I got some bell cranks and barrel tuners for my Pro 1 from John Coop and am very well satisfied with them. I can still use a few more old barrel tuners from anyone that is changing to nylon tuners. They are all chromed and beautiful. Now the original ones that is on there don't look as good in comparison. I got some teardrop knee levers from Ed Naylor, bless his soul, and they are all polished up too. It is good to see John Coop Sr taking up the slack on gettin good Sho-Bud parts at a reasonable price. Thanks John.....al ------------------ My Website..... www.cmedic.net/~almarcus/ |

Do you have a RKR mechanism for BOTH necks of a D-10?The old one wobbles with the T arms, goes out of tune if I am even slightly forward or backward with the leg. I REALLY want to rep[lace it with something stable for both necks.[This message was edited by David L. Donald on 21 May 2005 at 03:46 AM.] |

Farris...This week my friend with the CNC laser cutter will cut the pieces for # 402 & # 403 (E9 & C6 bellcranks) also # 421 (front apron mounting brackets for E9 & C6 bellcranks) I am going to mount an Oilite bushing in the apron brackets for the shaft to ride in. If it starts geting any wear in it, just pop out the bushing and install a new one. Too simple ain't it!!! Naturally, the front apron brackets will be chromed. Thanks for all you are doing in getting the word out about my parts. Did you see Tommy Whites post about the knee lever kits I sent him? Your Ol' Southern buddy, John |
