At the Lone Star booth at the Dallas convention there was a very unique compact psg that would almost fit in a large pocket. Three pedals (via cables) & one lever for right hand palming. I took some pictures of it, along with the inventor, who mentioned he'd been working on perfecting it for several years. I'd love to have more info on it, even a way to get in touch with Lone Star. Anyone?

Thanks for the interest in the Portapedal. Its fun to play it, but honestly there are a few "bugs" to be worked out. The ida came to me in a dream some 3-4 years ago. Something for Rock, over the edge playing, standing or sitting, light-weight etc. I thought I could market it by the name "Ratsenol" in some farout graphics. Again apealing to the younger crowd to get them interested in pedal steel. It is constructed with machinable dense plastic endplates, all pull changer, rollers on both ends, connected by three solid aluminum bars, two 1/2 at the bottom, one 3/4 on top that also serves to mount the acrylic neck, pick-up and output jack. A Humbucking pick-up for a 10 string
steel is used.3 pedals 1 dual direction lever, ( on the top of the guitar actuated by palm. In current configuration, the two outside pedals Raise 1& 4 G# to A and the middle 3rd B to C# you can press all three at the same time. The lever lowers and raises the 2& 5 strings E to F or E to G#.
I am designing another changer with quick disconnect features and shorter travel. Cables actuate the changer with sockethead screws for stops at the changer. Still feels a bit springy. I am not able to post pics of the updates at this time as both camera and scanner went south. got to save up some bucks for new gear. would be happy to send pics and info by postoffice to anyone interested. Thanks again for your inquiry.
