Quick question. On my single neck professional with the tone and volume knob and coil tap switch, right now all that is bypassed and the pick up hooks directly up to the input jack. I was thinking about rewiring everything back to original, but the pick-up only has two wires that come out of it. Is that correct? From my understanding, shouldn't it have three. Perhaps this is not the stock pick-up, it wouldn't suprise me seeing how there are many non-stock items on the guitar ARGH!! Anyways, is there any way I can tell if this is a stock pick-up. It looks like a sho-bud. Thanks,
Jon

Jon, You could look under the pick up to see if the third wire is there. I’m using a coil tap in my LDG but only use the 19,000 coil. I have the other wire taped and folded under the pick up. If there is no third wire, you have a regular single coil pickup with no coil tap. The small switch would be useless.
