Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Jim Palenscar at his new store in Oceanside Ca.

Jim done some excellent work on my Emmons, straightened out "My Mess", and added a couple of changes I was wanting.

Has a nice selection of used Steels on the floor, and some nice steel amps. Being a welder and fabricator myself his machine shop in back really caught my attention.. and the parts he fabricated for my steel was an example of some top notch work.

Not only was Jim's work really great, but he's really a nice guy to go with it,,

Yep,, Jim "Saved" my Emmons, it almost hit the dance floor a few times, but now I'm looking forward to playing it again!!

Don't know if he has a web-site,, I'd just send him an email.

Kevin Ryan is working on a web site for me but it will be more of a general information deal w/o specifics on guitars. I don't have a big interest in shipping stuff for a number of reasons- the most important one being it's a pain . The web address is forthcoming.

Yeah I visited Jims Store to get some fine tuned adjustments done. I walked out with a new amp and cool new volume pedal...WOW WHAT A SALESMAN!.. No really folks, Jim added some really cool changes to my guitar..superb workmanship and service.. Played some dates and came back in to get some "dialed in" adjustments... Totally pro service.. Steel plays great..looks great. He also took my guitar apart and polished all my aluminum... Unbelievable!
By the way thanks JayDee and Frank Carter.. What a cool store, you walk in and Jaydee's hangin out.. We are luck here in San Diego..
The amp is pretty cool too..
