Hi !I need a quick reply! What is the total length of a Sho Bud Pro 1 S-10 (or any 70's Sho bud I guess) in inches? Other measures (xx" X xx" X xx" + pedal rack length ) would also be very helpful... This is for a case I have been offered, and I don't have my steel at home at the moment! Thanks ! Frode

Frode........My pro 2 is 33 5/8 long but you probably want to leave a little extra for switches if any. Maybe 34 inches or a tad more. Mine is a dbl neck so thats all I can help on. ------------------ Got Twang ? Mark |

Thanks for that very quick reply sir! I was hoping it would fit in one of these for light weight gig bag for my Pro 1. There is one for sale here in Oslo at a decent price, but it looks like the steel is a couple of inches to long if the Pro 1 is the same length as your Pro 2 .. I guess it is, but is there any pro 1 owners thet can confirm this? This bag is 32 1/4" x 12 1/2" x 10" http://www.bamcases.com/wind_instrument_cases/saxophone_cases/index.php?l=en&p=4 This would be a nice bag if I just rebuilt it to fit my pedal steel guitar… Maybe someone have any experience with bags for Wind instrument bags? Frode

Frode; I've had every style Sho-bud single-10 here at the house; and they all were over 33 inches....usually all in the 33 1/2" area; give or take a 1/8". Ricky |

Don't forget that ProI's came in 2 lengths... there's also the shorter body, late model ProI...without the gumby headstock and lacking the inch or so of body at the changer end. |

Frode,Mine's an 80's "The Pro 1", and its length is just over 32 1/4 ". It's definitely under 33". I believe it's similar to the one you picked up recently, but I can't be sure. |

Frode-Ricky has it right. My original Pro 1 S10 is 32 and 1/2 inches long, and still need a half inch more for the dual coil switch.A great playing and sounding guitar....Merry christmas....al ------------------ My Website..... www.cmedic.net/~almarcus/
