I'm working on a 78 model pro 1,the 2nd string won't lower a whole tone to C# only drop to D, i have a .015 string on it....the changer travels(drops) so far then starts to raise again..any help will be appreciated....Charlie...

This is why Sho-Bud cut off the second string finger/cam on the very bottom. Check and make sure this has been done on your guitar. Also, don't switch the fingers around unless you make this factory mod.
When the finger starts to raise again, it means that the lower bar is pivioting on the spring hole connection, you need LESS spring pressure/tension at this point, if it isn't adjustable, it needs to be carfully streched out 'till the correct tension is reached.
