Thank you TB, There is now a better front view of the guitar on the site "www.duanemarrs.com" under Show Pro. It is with AJ Nelson "master finisher" Duane Marrs and myself behind Lloyd on his new guitar. We call the finish blueburst to natural. Steve Hinson's is a little darker in the middle, but the same color scheme and blue is an aqua shade. That aside, if it didn't sound right, Lloyd wouldn't play it regardless. Sincerely, Jeff Surratt |

I can't say enough about Duane Jeff AJ et al.I have had my Marrs Retrofit for more about a year and a half, gigged hard with it every weekend, and I never thought I'd like anything better than my old ProIII. Yeah well I was wrong. I might not look or otherwise act thataway, but I might be the pickiest person on the planet when it comes to my guitars. No "Hysteresis", that's for sure! As I have time I'll post some pix and observations, but I don't think there's a better bunch of craftsmen anywhere. Bless Their Hearts. Lloyd's too. Sincerely. EJL |

Steve, Jeff just added a few of the shot's to our site. They are under the ones of Lloyd. Better view of keyhead etc... In all of my years building, this is the most accurate playing and tuning guitar I've had come off of a bench. The high's above the 12th fret are very brilliant too. We have enjoyed playing it this afternoon. |

'awesome' is pointing in the right direction but 'beyond words' pretty much says it...Question: what exactly is the 'stomp box' that Lloyd has hooked up? Thanks |

Steve, I have heard your playing on "Just To Be Your Man" and ain't no way you can deny that terrific playing. I wish I could get the intro and turn aroun (ending) down lick for lick. Maybe if I play for another 62 years, I might learn it. Gere |

I went out to Duane and Jeffs shop yesterday and they've got a great set-up out there for building guitars. They can make nearly everything for the guitar right there. I"m sure the castings are made elsewhere. They've got a really good looking D-10 out there for a very well known player waiting to be picked up. The inlay is a little different in that the colors are reversed. It's a beautiful guitar with the Marrs mechanics. The body is different than the Marrs guitars and is a little thinner. I think Duane said it was 3/4" thick so it's a little lighter. The pedals and fretboards are different too and I really liked them as well. That Show Pro is shonuff a fine geetar! |

I was out at Jeffs shop last week and I got to sit behind the new D10 that is ready and it was wonderful! I hope to afford one someday. The Show Pro is a beautifully built guitar. For now I still picking on my old Bud wearing my Converse Chuck Taylors. I wear black of course as they sound better! |

Hey Steve, got to see you play that new Sho Pro Sun. evening in South Bend with Randy Travis. You did a great job as did everyone in the band.Randy Travis is an excellent entertainer and had the audience in the palm of his hand from the very first song. A great concert all the way around! I wanted to talk to you but couldn't because of security. I think they were there to protect that new Sho Pro! Ken Mullett |
