I would like to get some feedback on the Star Steels from any of you players that are playing the Star. They seem to be really good guitars with a great tone. If you would rather email me that's fine too Hope to hear from a bunch of you.------------------ Keep pickin', Larry |

hello larry, it was nice meeting you in dallas this past march. i usually don't reply much on the forum. i learn more by listening instead of talking! but i believe in the star steels so much, i can't help but reply. bottom line: it's the most comfortable, well playing guitar i have ever owned. by comfortable, i mean, it just fits you like a glove. very well built and tone to die for. the pedal placement and overall design of the undercarriage is like none other. virtually zero cabninet drop and stays in tune very very well. like i said earlier, i usually don't post, but i am so sold on this guitar and folks that build, i think you owe it to yourself to give em a look. baxter

I have had a couple of Stars at my shop and they are very good guitars. Well built, stay in tune, very little cabinet drop, and very light. 2 thumbs up! |

I was a last minute fill in at the Dallas show this past March, and I did not bring my guitar from Arizona. The guys from Star Guitars helped me out by letting me use on of their D10s, and Frank Carter did a few quick changes that more closely reflected my set up (Day); I was very impressed with everything about the guitar; looks, sound, action, the whole nine yards. I got several compliments about the sound of the Star, and I could see one in my future!! Billy Easton Casa Grande, AZ |

I have not heard or played one , but I saw some pictures and if they sound half as good as they look they will be great guitars. Congrats to them on another well made American guitar. |

The Star guitar is one of the best. So far, it's the only guitar that could take over the # 1 spot that my '71 push pull has held for years. Good guitar and good people making it. BB------------------ If you play 'em, play 'em good! If you build 'em, build 'em good! http://www.bobbybowman.com |

I haven't had the pleasure of hearing or playing one yet but I did see a couple in the stage of being built. Clean undercarriage, light weight, and some incredible inlay work. Rick |
