I just picked up a nice old MSA and am hoping Reece can tell me its age. It's a green lacquer D-10, serial number 2C5844. Thanks!

Adam....First of all may I welcome you into what we at MSA consider to be.... our family.

Serial number 2C-5844 shows to be an emerald green double 10 Vintage XL which left the factory with 8 pedals and 4 knee levers.

It's original destination was Smith Music, location unknown. The exact date it was completed was not entered into record, however records do verify it was born in October of 1977.

I wish you have many happy years playing your MSA, and sincerely hope it provides you the pleasure and reliability you deserve and expect. If we can ever be of help to you, please let us know.

All times are Pacific (US)
