Turn your tuner on and see what comes up. Now press the edit button 3 times, and at the bottom right hand corner of the screen should appear TMPR. If it's not already saying TMPR:SE9(which is the factory E9 preset), TURN the big center dial on your tuner, which is called the "value" knob, until you see TMPR:SE9. Now press the edit button once and the screen will change to "save?" at the bottom right hand corner. Now push the Value knob twice,(if you accidently "twist the knob, simply shut off the tuner, turn it back on, and start again) and now every time you turn on your tuner, SE9 comes up in the top right hand corner of the screen. When you turn on your tuner now, it will automaticly show "TMPR:SE9.

And now, when you want the C6 preset, just press the edit button three times until TMPR appears, now turn the "value" knob clockwise one clic, and the C6th preset will appear. Hope this helps

Thanks very much ! It is just laziness on my part that I wanted to save a second or two ! I appreciate your help ! I'm printing out your advise as a friend of mine also would like to bypass all the punching and dialing at startup !

I know this sounds stupid and it is, but my old feeble mind forgets sometime, to get to the temp. tuning and I get in too big of a hurry and tune to the first thing that comes up on the VII . It don't take but one string for me to know I have messed up on the setting! This way -- I'll be right every time thanks to you !!
