No, I DON'T make them...my dear friend BOB SIMMONS makes one really fine sounding steel! This past Saturday, he brought a Simmons Steel for my to try and with all sincerity, it sounded and played as good as any steel out there. I almost played it at the Birmingham steel jam Saturday but needed a little time to get used to a new steel.

Besides being one of the BEST steel guitar rebuilder and repair person, BOB builds a really wonderful sounding steel.

I really like his 'Economy' model where people can buy a high quality steel at a very reasonable price. If you need repair work or looking for a super steel to buy, call my friend BOB @ 205.647.6400...tell the "other Simmons" said to call!

Hey I got one of those! I just love mine to death. I have been on the road this past 5 weeks, (17 cities, 7 countries, and 2 continents, yellow fever vacination and cholera too boot!) and unfortunately I had to leave her at home. I was home on the weekend recovering from my bout of cholera and I got enough energy up and played for about a half an hour and man oh man is that a sweet guitar. I only made one mod on my guitar and that was putting in a Wallace True Tone. I could not be happier. The guitar, TT and my homemade Tweed Pro/Twin sure does get that classic sound.

The price is right for either model Bob makes . It sure is a whole lot of guitar for the price. Built to perform and last.

If anyone wants to come over and check it out just let me know.
