I have a squeaky changer spring on my LKR change that lowers my 4th string E to Eb.

I have lubed every contact I could see and still the squeak presists. It would appear/sounds like the squeak is coming directly form the spring. Is there such a thing as a defective spring, i.e., one that has maybe been wound too tight and will squeak when stretched no matter how much lubercation?
This problem on changer of my Sierra Session.

Thank you for any insight or suggestions.

I had the same problem. I found out it was the rivet that holds the changer finger together, not the spring. Also lubricate the ball on the pedal rod. Hope this helps.
