Check this out! It may be old news, but I had never heard of this before.

Now there are automatic tuning keys for electric guitars. In theory, the concept seems adaptable to pedal steel. How about connecting these to a Peterson tuner?

Probably very expensive.

The present version tunes only the open strings. To have a system that tuned 20 opens, and 35-40 pedal-pulls, would probably cost thousands.
