Anyone have TABS for the song "Hickory Wind" by the Birds off of the "Sweet Hearts of the Rodeo" compilation. Furthermore, does anyone know who the steeler was that played on that?thanks Smitty ------------------

I don't have the tab, but that was definetly the great Lloyd Green.

I thought J.D. was the only steeler on that album. I don't remember seeing Lloyd's name listed on it.

There's also, of course..., another version with Emmylou on Gram's 'Grevious Angel' LP, and another on a recently released CD of Gram Parsons and the Fallen Angels doing a live radio show in ~1972 in Long Island. Emmylou is also present and Neil Flanz is doing the steel honors (quite well, I should say).I think the song is in D, with nothing too fancy chord-wise going on...
