What is the haunting chord found in the signature lick in this tune? I hear it, but I can't find it.Lee, from South Texas |

Is this the lick, the one after the word "eternity"? My steel is packed so I can't try it right now. I'll try it later in the week. It's in the key of G, and make sure you wiggle the bar alot on the first couple of notes. Let me know if it sounds right. 1____13_~_13______10__~_10________________________________________________________ 2_________________________________________________________________________________ 3_________________________________________________________________________________ 4____________________________________10__~_10_~_10__~_10_______10_~_10____________ 5____13_~_13a_____10a_~_10___________10a_~_10_~_10a_~_10_______10_~_10a___________ 6_____________________________10b__________________________10b____________________ 7_________________________________________________________________________________ 8_________________________________________________________________________________ 9_________________________________________________________________________________ 10________________________________________________________________________________ [This message was edited by Jeff Lampert on 17 January 2001 at 03:27 PM.]

Lee, I corrected the first part. I'm pretty sure if starts on the 13th fret, if in fact this is the lick you're talking about. |

Thanks Jeff. That's just what I was looking for. It's so easy, now that I see it. I guess I was lookin' in the wrong place on my fretboard. Thanks again. You're the King of Queens in my book. Lee[This message was edited by Lee Baucum on 17 January 2001 at 07:28 PM.] |
