with some variations...then he uses the D at 7th and C at 5th fret positions. For the solo he goes up to the 12th fret with some familiar slide licks on strings 1-3. I think there should be some harmonics thrown in here and there too... Note that he uses the open G tuning and not the standard dobro "high G" tuning.
