I about to buy a new 500K potmeter for my Goodrich L120, since my George L potmeter has started scratching after just some months.Any suggestions for potmeter and where to buy? It has to be an american internet-store that accepts payment by VISA-card on their website. Thanks, DJ[This message was edited by Dag Jonas Skjoelsvold on 29 June 2005 at 07:53 AM.] |

Try Carter Guitar Co. They sell Goodrich and should have the replacement pots. Also, Scotty's Music in St Louis, and almost any Steel Guitar Store. Bobbe Seymour sells them and ships worldwide. |

I had good luck with KA5041S28 from Digi-Key Corp. www.digikey.com Their prices have gone up, but they are still cheaper than most other sources. |

BEWARE!!!!--KA5041S28 from Digi-Key Corp.--have 7/8" shafts...unfortunately, PEC measures from the body of the pot which includes the threads..this makes the metal shaft about 1/2". I called them, and this is the only shaft length they handle that is a log/audio taper in the PEC. They have a 2" shaft in the RV4 Military Specs., but it is a liner taper. Yes, they have gone up approximately $2.00 in a years time....wish I would have ordered back then. I use a Hilton, but wanted back ups for my old pedals. |
