Jody, you are so a happening kind of guy. You just sold out all your CDs - I still have some of mine left!

Donna asked where has everyone been - I barely know where I've been! I was in the studio recording that song about being Too Old. (what a cheap plug!) Now, today is my birthday and I really am old. (what an even cheaper plug!)

Rick, so your hat size and age both change as you're writing TOO OLD. Something profound there, ya know! By the way, I can't get that song off my mind. (maybe something profound there, too?)
Happy Birthday to the next rising star!!

Gary,
Ditto Howard and Rick.

Very professional. No, I am not surprised. Very well written and interesting. It had a very warm and tweedy ambiance to it. Thank you for the time you put in for us... TX

Rick, thanks for posting that photo of Jody and the "Sizzlers". Only you could have found that one. Whoever said there were two bass players; the guy on the right side looks like he's waiting to go on next, but not actually playing.

Sir Jody, Knight of Tweed,

How about your worship stay in as, "President in Absentia".

Those Vice Presidents of Fenderdom, Rick, Gary & Howard could handle the massive responsibilities of real time operations.......just like the way it's done in Washington today......Hmmmm, who wants to be Cheney.....TX

George Carlin?

Yeah, I like him, he's weird and almost as humorous as the Knight of Tweed. BUT!!!

He's not from Brooklyn!!! Oh no!! He's from the Bronx!! Yikes!!!!

Does he have any Fenders, other than the ones on his car? Don't think so!!

Is he faster than a speeding bullet bar like Jody Carver is on "Caravan"? Don't think so!!

Is he able to leap tall buildings with a Fender Quad under his arm, like Jody Carver can? Don't think so!!

Is he more powerful than Jody Carver, who can pull a Fender Quad out of a tree trunk at an enchanted rain forest in Pennsylvania? Don't think so!!

Can he inspire a rag tag nation of jester's, knaves, wierdos, rascals & Fender steelers out of the gloomy, dank shadow's of obscurity and into the sunlight of happiness, fellowship and great sounding steeling, like the Knight of Tweed can???? Asolutley not!!!!

Now, what to do???....Hmmmmm, how bout "Deep Throat"....Nahhhhh

Seriously, Knight of Tweed....Be well, take care of yourself. We understand this is a really hard time for you now....we are all in there for you, Man... TX

Knight of Tweed,

Sorry, no good on ED...our secret thought police did a background check...turns out... he is "Deep Throat"!!!....

So face it, take a LOA (leave of absence), your resignation is not accepted!!! Be reasonable, do as we say, not as we do. The Fender population has spoken!! : TX

Jozef, A Custom has 3 necks. Is that a Dual Professional - or did you mean T-8 Custom? And didn't Fender discontinue the Custom in the mid 50s?

Sounds like some nice gear. Do you have pics?

Seargents of Steels, Gary & Rick,
Protectors of all Fender Steels & Ray's Pizzas (peperroni please).

With all these Fender Steels reporting for duty, it's going to be complicated to line then all up for the Photo Album & 1st Annual Easter Fender Steel Parade along with the OPS Steel Exhibition!!!

Might have to organize by chapter or section, East, West, North, South. And if we are really, really compelled......we can let Somers NY/Milford Pa. in too. TX
