Hey Guys,
I got numerous emails today, perhaps the mailbox was full. I just did a cleanup utility and deleted several to make sure. Have got several from lots of steelers. It is going to be the place to be.

The Ball ranch is 1 mile South of Abilene on the left on 83-84. Turn south on 83 84 there at Abilene Regional hospital and go 1 mile and you will see the ranch on your left. These are the directions he just gave me over the phone. I will call him and tell him his mails are bouncing.

Hey Fred,
I stayed up til 2am working on my steel album. I've got all the drum tracks down, and most of the bass tracks. I have 2 steel parts laid down. I can't stop once I get started. How's it goin'?
Don't forget to save the last weekend in June 2006 for the show in Abilene.

Hey Larry, I met up with Benny Kothman from Menard, another fine Texas steel man, at a benefit last Sunday, he had not heard about the new association , he said to count him in and he would be there Sunday the 26th at Ball Ranch in Abilene to meet some of the ones he doesnt know and to say hi those he does know. Also some fine musicians and singers wanted to know if they were welcome to come , I told them yes, by all means come on. Gonna be another great day in Abilene, Tx.

Hey Doyle, better know as Shady!
Good news....tell everyone to come as they are all welcome. We do want to sign up as many members as possible. If you need directions to the Ball Ranch, you go south of Abilene on 83/84 past Abilene Regional Hospital about 1 & 1/2 miles. You will see the white Ball Ranch sign on your left. Go past it about 100 yards to the crossway. There is an entrance to the River of Life Church there. Make a left (actually you just made a u-turn) and the Ball Ranch is on your right now. Go all the way to the back of the Ball Ranch and come in that door. We will start at 2pm sharp, but will be there before that if you want to visit.

Totally unrelated to the subject....... but I want Booby to tell me how he lost all that weight, I didnt even reconize him at the benefit last Sunday. If I could shake 30 lbs. what a happy camper I would be. Larry I just talked to two steelmen and a guitar player that want to join up. They are young fellows and are like us old fellows......STILL LEARNING.. and want to see how the real pro's do it that will be there Sunday.
