I noticed in the ISGA pix a white tone bar on your new Zum. What is it and what kind of tone do you get from from it .

Bo,
That is a Zirconia bar I’ve had a few years and one that I keep handy for C6 work. Tone wise it adds a touch of body to the notes by reducing the ping sound you get from the unwound strings, especially the E string.[This message was edited by Buddy Emmons on 16 October 2006 at 01:43 PM.] |

Thanks Boss, it never stops amazing me that you even take the time to answer these questions.
Now where can I find a zirconia bar?
Do the Rajah or powder coated bars even come close to the sound?

I've noticed several players using these bars. Here's Doug Jernigan from a few weeks ago. The ZumSteel was a beauty. The playing was - well you already know. Amazing.
