A friend of mine was saying that Clapton probably didn't play a Gibson because of his contract with Fender. That didn't occur to me, but I guess it is bad form to play a competitor's guitar when Fender has one named after you. Don't they make a Strat with humbuckers? That would have worked.

A contract with Fender? Does Eric Clapton really need an endorsement deal? Wow, ya learn something new every day (now if I could just get an endorsement from Emmons, LOL!!!!).

I have the DVD..I watched part of it with my daughter on Christmas day..

I like it..it brings back 35 years of memories..I'm glad they are still alive.

it sure beats the alternative...

I agree with Mike, G Baker looks better now than he did back in 69 !
