Where is the model number listed on a 15 inch Peavey Black Widow? The only thing I can find is the serial number. Could it be on the frame or on the front which means I have to take it out of the enclosure.

Thanks Jerry. That is about the only place I did not look because it was way down in the enclosure. Kind of reminds me of my cell phone. You have to take the back off and remove the battery to find the model number. It is a Nokia. Thanks again.

You are most welcome, mon frer! I've taken to marking the basket frames [not the magnet] with the model # and resistance if I have one out of the amp/cabinet. If you experiment some with different speakers and baskets like I do or if you feel likely to forget the identification over time, this works well.

I mark them with a black permanent marker somewhere on the frame that is easy to see with the speaker mounted. I've had the tag come off a couple too, so this helps there too. JO

How come you folks from Louvl, E-Town, and Hodgenville are so friendly. It must be because my Daddy, Grandpa, Great Grandpa were Kentuckians.
