![]() Update. I just spoke to Buddy. He was out on the streets of N.Y. searching pawn shops with a police detective for his stolen guitar. I have a new 14 string universal (7+7) lined up waiting to be built. I am just waiting for his go ahead. I think he just wants to make a concerted effort to get his guitar back before he excepts the gift guitar. I don't know. I am going on a road trip to P.A. for five days. He told me to hold off until I get back. I told him I needed an answer in the next seven to ten days. I don't want to hold this kind of money for too long. I have not and will not cash any of the checks until Buddy makes a decision. |

![]() Kevin, you can put me down for $25.00 if it is needed. If the new guitar is required, my check will be in the mail immediately. |

![]() Kevin, Have you considered sending this info to the Grateful Dead community? Many of them followed the New Riders of the Purple Sage as well as the Dead. You may get quite a response. This may work as a link http://www.deadnetcentral.com/ Regards, |

![]() We could probably buy Buddy a house if I did! I think I have enough money to get Buddy what he wants. He is looking at extended 12 string E9ths right now. I sort of wanted to limit this to the steel community to make a point, but that is an excellent suggestion. |
