I didn't come here to be insulted. I had a bad experience with an EMCI guitar that was properly maintained. I have never had a similar problem with any other guitar I have owned. |

You didn't come here to be insulted? Where do you usually go? |

Funny Thing: I've read countless post about cleaning, adjusting, lubricating, and replacing parts. You guys are beginning to scare the hell out of me. My 23 year old PP has never had any of the above and it's still playing great. I'm getting afraid to take it out of the house for fear it might fly apart. But I guess I'll try it again tomorrow night. Maybe it'll stay together. OH!, I did have one thing done to it. I had Bobbe Seymour replace the fretboards. By Three year old Grandson took the bar and tweaked them a little bit. It looks new again. |

Eddie, How bad did it affect the tone when I replaced the fret boards? (Ha!) |

Bobbe: I think you put the wrong fretboards on the wrong neck. The E9 sounds like C6th and the C6th sounds like E9.--------Eddie |
