I personally would die happy if Buddy played a medley made up of his signature and definitive intros turnarounds and backing fills from the many hit records he provided a "Hook" to.
We ALL know the main ones but how about naming some of our favourites, mine is the solo in the Roger Miller recording of 'Nothing can stop me' on the "Trip in the Country" album... the G and then the Gaug, runs are so original, made me put a change on one of my knee levers to take the B's to C.
(It's no 5 in my ripped off licks book that I use for original arrangements.!!)

Boy it looks like you are really in a tough positon, glad I don't have to make that decision. Actually anything and everything you play will be appreciated. Hope to catch you in Dallas.

Looks like we need to give Buddy all day Saturday! I would certainly go for the idea.

It's hard to pick one, there are so many but Once Upon a Time in The West is great. I would like to see the spinning bar live.

`Violet Tulloch, Queen Of Lerwick` is one of the most beautiful tunes on the planet. It wouldn't benefit from being done on steel, as it is perfect with Aly's fiddle playing, however it would be nice to hear a version on pedal steel. ht tp://mfile3.akamai.com/14122/rm/muze.download.akamai.com/2890/us/usrm/_!/614/548614_1_05.ram?auth=daEcxbmd5aTd8ajdPaUduaWd3a3dYdubAaZ-beDoKv-Ci-decei&aifp=1234&obj=v50815

Thanks to everybody; you did well, including an idea or two I hadn’t thought of.
Howard Tate… Once Upon a Time in the West is one of my favorites. Don’t know whether I can get to it but I haven’t taken the bar out for a spin in a while so maybe St. Louis would be a good time (with a little prodding). That I’m sure will come from Bobby Caldwell at his discretion. Who knows what evil lurks…

Tico Tico. It is just pure fun and could cause a big train wreck at the top tempo but It would be fun hearing it taken just to the edge.
