So far . . .

We've had 85 responses to ages. (I didn't count Erv)
Ages total 4,410 years = average age 51.75
Love your quote, Charlie!!

quote:
for-um-ite n:__ a dense metal compound. One of the oldest known substances, but only newly discovered. Often found hear Hawaiian volcanoes.
Easily converted into steel.

Will someone double check me, please.

Since Donna is keeping score, I'll reply.
52

That's not gonna have much impact on the average.

Looks like the numbers are a little lower than the last survey, I will try to help keep it low by abstaining.

I would say that based on several of the treads in recent weeks, average age seems to be about 2 or 3.

For anyone interested, since our last age AVERAGE was announced, we've had 6 additional responses, changing our AVERAGE Forumite age of 51.75 to the new average of 51.69.

Deborah, you may possibly change things here if you'd like to add your age!!

Richard, need another CHECK please!!

I'm not going back thru all these replies to check if Al Marcus checked in but I turned 83 March 12. We, and a few others will screw up the average, I'm certain.

Well lets see, I posted this back last July and had 162 responses and they averaged 49.5 years old. Now I'm 57, a year older, and it looks like the average might be a little younger. Hum, whats wrong with this picture? I think I'm going in the wrong direction. Someone turn me around!!!!! Ray Qualls

50, is someone keeping score on this thread? I told myself when I turned 50 I was going to buy myself a new cowboy hat. Haven't got out to the store yet, but maybe I should get a new sixpack of underwear instead.
