![]() ![]() I guess I'm next to the oldest. I'M 69 and I'm sorry to say, that country music is dying faster than I am.Used to be ,going out and having a cold beer and listening to some good country music was something to enjoy. ,But I'm afraid its about gone. Nothing left but tapes.and may;be a steel convention. |

![]() ![]() Well lets see, I posted this back last July and had 162 responses and they averaged 49.5 years old. Now I'm 57, a year older, and it looks like the average might be a little younger. Hum, whats wrong with this picture? I think I'm going in the wrong direction. Someone turn me around!!!!! Ray Qualls ------------------ |

![]() ![]() I said when I grow up I want to be a steel player. Somebody corrected me and said to make up my mind, what do I want to do grow up or be a steel player! I know I'm growing older anyway - - 48 now. In hindsight we should have kept the calculation of the average going with each person recalculating as he/she sends a reply. Oh well, interesting thread anyway. |

![]() ![]() Intermediate Summary Time! The mean (average) to this point (of 139 entries) is 48. The standard deviation is 13. But are steel players mean? I don't think so. [This message was edited by Bill Llewellyn on 29 February 2000 at 07:45 AM.] |
