Not so sure Koos is "retired" anymore. I spoke with him last year at Steeldays in Netherlands, and he was talking about a new recording with United Steels of Europe. I hope they do it!

How good are they...along with Lionel Wendling they're the very best across the pond.....and take a back seat to very few on this side.

I might add that in my opinion there's very few steelers on this side of the pond that these guys take a back seat to.

Their original album will always be one of my favorites. Well arranged and rehearsed steel ensemble work. I'm fortunate to have seen them in St. Louis that year they all came.

I've even heard snippits of their songs incorporated in instrumentals at the convention and on record. The only thing better than a pedal steel guitar is a "wall of steel guitar."
