In my effort to meet the deadline I totally forgot to insert Chuck Brattain's ad.

Please go to: http://www.aguitarcenter.com/category.html?UCIDs=700623

Chuck has many fine items on his site. The new control ring is very cool!

Thanks you, and sorry Chuck. I will make it up next month.

Gary, you sure did a great job putting the newsletter together!

Chuck Brattain and Jody Carver both wrote wonderful articles for it, providing us with glimpses into that magical era at the "dawn of creation".

I feel very proud to be a part of it.
Thanks, guys!

Paul,
You should have it soon. You and several other people on "A O Smell" have it in delay right now. It usually takes about 12 hours to get to you.

Thanks to Basil and modern technology though you can now read it online!

Welcome Bunky - nice assortment! Now you need a Custom, or at least a Dual Pro . .

And Richard S. - he's the man with the collection! Possibly the only guy besides HowardR with a worse case of S-G.A.S. than me. Send that man a newsletter and a Tweed Knight decoder ring!

Thank you for the gracious hospitality. I was fortunate to have the clarity of vision and plain dumb luck to buy two guitars when I was nineteen and hang on to them (my Strat and my Tele). From the same guy as a matter of fact. But no amount of gear can substitute for credentials on the resume'. This assembled group has no shortage of experience, wisdom, and artistry. I'm pleased to be peering in from the edge of the parking lot. The newsletter is superb, BTW. Glad to be here.

News Letter
Got it. Love it.
Wadda you serious Fender freaks think about the White combo? I know it wasn't made for really serious steelers, but to me it's a great sounding Fender relic. I ;haven't seen anything discused. Just thought I'd ask.

Thank you Gary I received your Newsletter.

I have a question...who is paying for the postage? I think you ought to consider a donation to cover the cost of mailing dont you? Think about it and discuss this with RA

You shouldn't be responsible for out of pocket expenses for postage...Great Job and thank you for taking the time and effort to make this possible

No Worries Mate!

I only mail out three or four per month. Considering what you have done to promote the Fenders this is nothing.

Keep sending the articles. Have everyone pitch in on Tips & Tricks and we can keep this going.

The success of the club is the members. i am only a lousy typing editor.

In looking over on the thread that Gary Boyett started regarding his Newsletter, I wanted for those of you who dont know this Forum member as well as I do to read his comment with regard to the members of the JCSGC.I quote this member as he writes....

.............................................
I'll try for an article-of-interest in the next issue, although I'm not a gifted writer!
.............................................

Well I disagree. This steel player and most
gifted man can not only write on his experience with non pedal guitars, but he is
somehow not able to really make himself known to those of you who are not aware that
he can take a Fender guitar apart and put it together as fast and I did an M1 rifle years ago. His name is "Big John Bechtel" so if you want something of interest,Gary should ask John to add something that would be of interest all of those of you who are not aware
of his writing ability. He can take any guitar apart and put in back together before you can say."LET'S EAT" which he does so well and more. Thank you Gary and you as well Big John, dont be so modest, You Da Man. John knows a great deal about Fender which few these days do and that includes this steel player. Modesty will get you no where.C'mom Give me a break Big Guy.

Your FENDER friend has spoken. edited for asking John to write an article on the JCFSGC
and you can leave the IHOP for awhile

Have a great day.
