Man there aint no way they're going to close a thread that the BIG E started!

I think we could pretty much go carte blanche on this one and say whatever we want without fear of it being slammed shut! HAHA

Rick
P.S. That blue ShoBud Bobbe had was beautiful.

I have a red D10 ZB that Zane Beck built for Bobby Garrett. It is in mint condition. Is it worth more because Zane built it or because Bobby played it ? Jody.

I must admit, I wouldn't mind finding one under my tree xmas morning(or any morning!)
Gee I just bought a Sho~Bud from Bobbe
two weeks ago and he gave me a bunch of extras, but nothing like that! Since I buoght it from Bobbe, you could say that it was once owned by Bobbe Seymore...Does that make it worth more? I even have a pic of him playing it from his web site!,but if that purty Melissia played it ,I Know it would go up in value!

I'd be interested in finding a guitar that Bobbe played after he bought it because Buddy played it after he bought it because Lloyd played it after he bought it because Paul played it after he bought it because Jeff played it after he bought it because Smiley played it after he bought it because Farris played it.

Farris, do remember what kind it was and what it looked like?

Let me know soon before I buy something else.

good morning savell, don't have a clue what it was now!but it seems like no one wants mine after i finish with it!and i restore em pretty good!why,i even sandblasted one the other day,man that took all that old paint off.then painted her ford tractor blue, looked as good as the one bobbe sold.
now i'm fixing to put my sho-bud pro3 on the welding table.they say the fingers won't stay good.WELL,they will when i get them all welded solid.I'll have my grandson standing by with the water hose just in case she catchs on fire!when i get thru we'll wash her out good, and blow it out with 200 lbs.air pressure, she will be so clean.might be for sale to.SHO-BUDpro 3 completely restored!! farris

we all can rip Bobbe and he will take it but if we or most of us could just play 1/3 the stuff he can we would all be great. Now he has made some bad moves as we all have but I do believe some of us have gone over board cutting him down. I for one will not cut down anyone who puts as much into this guitar as he does..

Good gosh you guys! Hope I don't have to wear a hat this winter! I'd never be able to get it on.

I get picked on violently on this forum at times, but this makes up for it, this is why I put up with you big dummies when you give me trouble! I gotta' take the good with the bad.

Your right BOBBE,i heard BUDDY around late 70s in lakeland florida,he was with Jeff Newman, they finally found BUDDY behind the bar!ha ha,he came out and sit down hit that emmons steel,it sounded awful!BUDDY said whats going on!he hit it a few times, then fliped a few switches,MAN did things come to life!I sit there in complete amazement!
after while Jeff slipped a paper sack over BUDDYS head and he didn't miss a lick, then JEFF gave BUDDY a bar as big as a quart jar and he still never missed a lick. You bectcha BUDDY EMMONS is the TOP in my book.

No, I didn't change my mind, it just seemed redundant. Everyone knows and feels the same way I do so why bore everyone with it? No sense in overloading b0b's hard drives with unimportant trivia facts that we all know anyway.
Yes, Buddy is #1.
But thank you Farris,
