I have been meaning for some time to comb Threadzilla for more-basically practical postings there (from my perspective) which is the intent of my work on Steel neck mapping and navigation by modal structure and substitutions; Making it easier for Folks interested in the more-basic info to find it without wading through the also-valuable advanced and abstract theory discussions and debate there, which SHOULD be visited after simpler basics are grasped. So I finally made the time tonight and did it (6:00 AM now ). It was quite a chore, so if there are some misgiving selections, simply skip over them and go to the next one. I included postings by Folks who expressed how the system and threadzilla has helped them; Not egotistically, but to provide motivation for Folks plowing through threadzilla who might appreciate being reminded that it has worked well for a number of Folks.

It will help to print out the Modes / Navigation chart for reference while reading the postings listed below. Also notice that there are other chart approaches provided by Others in threadzilla. I did not include most of them because no small amount of discussing the different perspectives contributes considerably to threadzilla's bulk, abstract and debate, ...and my intention here is to provide a simplified index to the basics in threadzilla. Anyone using this simplified index SHOULD also visit the entire threadzilla when the basics are grasped, because different perspectives are great and there is a treasure trove of info in that discussion chain.
