I cannot play both parts at the same time of the section that you double tracked though.

You did dub that part, no?

Yes I did. The ORIGINAL recording (No longer available) was a signature tune for an RTE Television series, and the section you are referring to was twin steel and lead gts.
Originally 29 seconds long, after the first screening of the series there was a lot of interest in the tune by the BBC for its local radio stations and I ended up doing a lot of varied versions. i.e. short stings, beds for voice overs etc.
I got $55 each time the TV used it, AND, the show was an hour long with three ad breaks, SO, the tune brought in the show... played out to the first ad break... brought in the show...played out to the SECOND add break...brought in the show...played out to the THIRD ad break...brought in the show, and finally played out the show. = 8 times.. =$440 per show. 13 week series. Repeated the following two years..
You see even though I was commissioned and paid to write it, I OWNED the publishing !! along with Paschal Mooney (The show's presenter, Irish Senator and Broadcaster)

The 'Top Line" is the easiest !

You'll soon be passing out the ZB thread !
Keep the cartoons coming so that we "Stay ON Subject"
Don't offend the powers that be
You're Lucky to have got away with the B@n۩ references !
I'll turn to the west and pray to Decca for divine inspiration for you.

Hey Shef, I've been enjoying your CD, you're a a very talented jazz guitarist!.

In fact, your picking has me in such a good mood that I would like to buy the Gorilla and Mr. Steeler a drink next time they hit the ol' bar. Would they care for a rusty nail to chase down that beer?
